How to use
Choose one pattern type, then extract matches in reading order. IPv4 candidates are range-checked; other presets are deliberately labeled heuristic because matching text is not proof that an address, account, or URL exists.
Example
Limitations
Email, URL, hashtag, mention, and IPv6 matching is heuristic and does not verify ownership, reachability, or every valid international syntax. Extraction is limited to 10,000 matches.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this validate email accounts or URLs?
No. It recognizes useful text shapes locally; it does not contact a server or establish that a destination exists.
Are invalid IPv4 addresses included?
No. Each dotted-decimal octet must be from 0 through 255, though the tool does not classify private or reserved ranges.
Can it extract multiple pattern types at once?
Choose one preset per run so the output and validation rules remain unambiguous.
